This is no ordinary Advertising Awards. It's an event with a difference, starting with the rules. There are none! You don't have to have any media spend, the client doesn't have to exist and you shouldn't be doing the work for commercial reasons. It's all about ideas:brilliant ads, well done.
The Categories are irreverent: Best Work For A Global Brand You Haven't A Hope in Hell Of Winning; Best Use Of Bad Taste through to Best Use Of Plagiarism.
Entries should be sent to Jo Elliott, The Chip Shop Awards, 3 Park Street South, Glasgow, UK, G3 6BG by no later than 5pm on Monday 1st May 2006.
Results eill then be revealed at the awards night as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Thursday 24 August.
